Veterinarians
Dr. Erinn Williams, DVM, Medical Director
Dr. Erinn Williams graduated from Michigan State University with her B.S in Zoology in 2002 before returning and to obtain her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.
Following her second graduation from MSU in 2006, Dr. Erinn also completed an equine surgical internship in Portland, OR, before returning to small animal medicine. She has worked as an associate vet for most of her career, but has spent the past year doing independent relief work.
Dr. Erinn has a Persian rescue named Fizzgig (pictured) who readily declines any additional furry babies to the household.
In her downtime, you’ll almost always find Dr. Erinn with a book in her hand, but she also enjoys playing Sudoku, traveling, and baking.
Dr. Vanessa Sanchez Barba, DVM
Dr. Sanchez Barba has practiced veterinary medicine since 2022. She proudly graduated from Universidad de Guadalajara- Centro Universitario de Los Altos. She prides herself in providing quality care for her patients by continuously advancing her knowledge.
During her free time, she likes to relax at home reading books, watching movies with her family, or going out to play trivia with her friends.

Michelle Jewett, Practice Manager, Licensed Veterinary Technician
Michelle is the Practice Manager and a Licensed Veterinary Technician at Troy and Heights Animal Hospital. Michelle completed the Veterinary Technician Programme at Macomb Community College and took the VTNE in 1994 to get her LVT License. She prides herself on having a strong work ethic and establishing good communication with our clients and staff. She enjoys providing our patients with professional, compassionate, and quality care.
In her free time, she likes to go up North, where she grew up, and spend time with family, friends, and especially her dog Kotter.
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Rachel, Licensed Veterinary Technician
Rachel graduated from the Macomb Community College Veterinary Technician program and passed her VTNE to become a licensed veterinary technician in 2022. She is always looking to expand her knowledge and skill set to give our patients the best care possible. In her free time, she enjoys arts and crafts and spending time with her family, boyfriend and her 3 kitties, George, Bella, and Clementine.
Veterinary Assistants
Mackenzie, Veterinary Assistant
Mackenzie is a Veterinary Assistant at Troy and Heights Animal Hospital. She prides herself on being an advocate for those who can’t speak for themselves. It makes her beyond grateful to be able to be a part of an amazing team that helps save lives. In her free time, she loves being with her friends and family and going on trips. She also enjoys swimming, hiking, and spending time outdoors.
Rosa Alvarado, Veterinary Assistant
Rosa has been in preventative care for nine years and is looking to grow. She has four cats that are full of energy and cuddles. In her spare time, Rosa likes to crochet.
Cait Giannotta, Veterinary Assistant
Cait has over 15 years of experience in the veterinary field and is so excited to be a part of the Troy and Heights team! She has three cats, and a dog named Dewey. In her spare time, she enjoys arts and crafts, cooking, and exploring the Metro Detroit area.
Alonso, Veterinary Assistant
Alonso is a Veterinary Assistant at Troy and Heights Animal Hospital. He Is currently attending Wayne State University pursuing an engineering degree. He prides himself on being friendly and outgoing with all his pet patients and their owners to ensure the best experience.
During his free time, Alonso enjoys tinkering with computers and 3D printing, playing video games, watching movies, and taking his dog, Kali, to the park.

Kelli, Veterinary Receptionist
Kelli is a Veterinary Receptionist at Troy and Heights Animal Hospital. She attended the University of Central Florida. She prides herself in giving excellent customer service. She wants clients and their pets to feel like a member of the family when they visit our office. She believes a smile goes a long way!
In her free time, she likes to explore different parts of the town and state. She also loves listening to music. Recently she moved to Michigan and is in love with Detroit Zoo. When not working, she also likes going to the beach and local parks.
